Testimonials
I cannot tell you how timely the coaching was. I have had a lot going on recently and it still is. However, I am sure as a direct result of my time with you and the tools you have equipped me with, which I use daily with issues that previously would have sent me into a spin. Thank you
What I feel I have learned is that I have control. The tools/methods I have learnt have been so simple and natural I don’t even feel I am consciously using them.
Disc Behavioural Profiling is spookily accurate. I work with people in all of these categories in fact ‘I am one of them’. It really does help to know how to communicate with people and tell them what they want to know. It allows you to get what you want and take you where you want to go so much faster.
Jennie is a great coach. She took me as I was and helped me with what I wanted to achieve.
NLP is a ‘complimentary therapy’ that works! General Practice Partnerships will be so much more effective as a result of NLP coaching for individuals and partners together.
Should I go on? No: 1 sceptic bowled over!
Thank you again

I have used Jennie on a number of occasions as an expert trainer to deliver a wide range of training to groups of volunteers. As a trainer Jennie is vibrant and enthusiastic and delivers her courses in a fun, interactive way that holds the groups attention, helping a positive outcome for our volunteers. Jennie has considerable knowledge, understanding and experience of health and social care and of the voluntary and community sector. Her understanding of what motivates volunteers is a key component to her successful training methods. On each occasion she has fully met my expectations and has successfully enabled her audience to understand complex issues such as equality and diversity, and representation so that volunteers were able to fulfil their statutory duties.

As a training and development officer, I contract with trainers and consultants to deliver day long courses.
Jennie was a favourite choice for me when calling on trainers. Her professionalism, her ability to know and deliver just what a group needs and her general enthusiasm for people and work made her a pleasure to do business with.
I have been really delighted with the content and delivery of Jennie’s work; she is flexible, quick witted and positive. And she really knows her subjects! In particular, Jennie has successfully delivered sessions for me on supervision of staff and volunteers, facilitating groups, handling conflict and dealing with difficult people.
Anyone who attends her sessions seems to agree – she’s creative, energetic and good fun, as well as dependable, knowledgeable and professional.

Jennie has delivered clinical supervision training for staff within the Primary Care Trust for three years. The training always evaluated really well and staff frequently contact the department requesting further sessions. From staff feedback it appears that it is Jennie’s true enthusiasm for her subject, which make her sessions so enjoyable.

I attended one of Jennie Sutton’s Clinical Supervision workshops in 2006 and realised straightaway how important it would be to me. As a practice pharmacist I work largely on my own in several GP surgeries, only meeting up with other practice pharmacists at occasional training days or meetings. We had developed our own mechanism for dealing with problems by discussing them in the car on the way to and from such meetings – fine up to a point, but not a constructive way of resolving problems or learning from each other.
The other pharmacists at the workshop agreed that we should have a regular meeting scheduled for Clinical Supervision, we explained the principles to the rest of our team and had a trial session. It was an immediate success – not only for the pharmacists who had a problem to bring to the session, but for all of us as we learnt from other people’s problems and thought more about our own practice.
We now have Clinical Supervision sessions about every six weeks, four to six members of the team attend and the three pharmacists who attended the original workshop take it in turns to be Supervisors (lead the session or part of it). Jennie’s workshop left us well equipped to lay ground rules for the sessions – tailored to suit us – the sessions flow smoothly, we all have the chance to contribute. We feel much stronger as a team now – all working towards the same goals but better able to deal with problems.

“You don’t know me. We’ve probably never met, so firstly, let me assure you I’m real. My family and I live in South Cumbria and I’m a police officer. Go ahead, check if you like. You’re not here to read about me, however, I’m willing to bet that you and I have something in common.
Right now, you’re reading Jennie Sutton’s testimonials so I’ll assume you’ve got an interest in coaching. Well, so have I.
I’d heard about coaching from a friend, read a little about it and was curious to know more. My interest led me to attend a conference recently and that’s where I first met Jennie. You’ll have seen her too, if you’ve taken the chance to have a look at her website.
This is perhaps now where I have the advantage over you. You’re reading this because you want to know more about Jennie…well, like I said, I’ve actually had the pleasure of meeting and working with her.
I didn’t need a coach. That’s not why I went to the conference, but then I spent time with Jennie.
Jennie is delightful. She is so easy to talk to, very friendly and caring. Her desire to see others be happy and achieve all that they wish for is clear and it was genuine. She hasn’t asked me to say this and I’m not being paid either, I’m telling you because you need to know! The time I spent in Jennie’s company was very enjoyable. She has a warmth and sense of humour which made the whole experience at the conference such good fun.
Jennie exudes a positive attitude. It’s infectious and she helped open my eyes not only to the benefits of being coached but to the ambitions I was withholding.
To get where I want to be, has made me think that perhaps I do need a coach. But not just any old coach. You see, I’ve met Jennie.
I don’t know you. We’ll probably never meet, but let me wish you well for the future and assure you that the time you spend with Jennie, will be time well spent.”
Chris Bethell, Police Officer of South Cumbria
My two coaching sessions with Jennie helped me through a particularly stressful time at work, where I found my normal coping mechanisms dismally fail following what felt like a barrage of constant criticism. Following the first session where Jennie was so positive and encouraging, I found new ways of managing my low self esteem and lack of control over the situation that worked immediately. Undertaking the two DISC Behavioural Profiling self assessments and having Jennie interpret them for me gave back the power to cope with a particularly difficult individual by giving me insight into their personality and the ways I needed to approach that person to gain back control of my work life. Jennie has provided me with support, empathy and the challenge I needed to address the problem realistically and quickly to stop it becoming a far greater problem in the future.
I can honestly say I was sceptical, but the scepticism vanished after the first session. I highly recommend Jennie’s approach.
