Just imagine that you have your goal already. What would you feel, see or hear if you did?

Make a note of these sensory sensations and then fill in the template below….

  •  The date is Six months from now… 30th June 2010. (use a future date)

 

  • And I am / I have

(something that you envisage having or an experience you want), but write it as if you have that something now…..

  • End step

(this is your evidence procedure. Here you put all the sensory comments from above into the description).  I have passed my exam and I can see in my hand my honours certificate, my family shout ‘well done’ as I hear the champagne cork pop and taste the cool bubbly on my lips

  • The trick is to have fun with it and imagine you have your goal already.
  • You can set your goals using this technique for any duration…. 6, 9, 12 months or longer.
  • Whatever it is, make it real for you and keep the goal somewhere where you can see it everyday.
  • Maybe on your computer screen saver, on your mirror in the morning or inside your wardrobe.

Have fun making your goals – your reality.
