I’ve always been ok with doing presentations to small groups of people but the thought of doing one in front of a large crowd filled me with dread. Then I was asked to do a presentation at a fashion show to 100 ladies.
The thought of it made me come out in a hot sweat. I was worried I’d forget what I was saying, that I wouldn’t hold their attention and that I would feel like they were bored.
I had a coaching session with Jennie which completely turned me around. She went through the steps of how to feel confident, how to get everyone’s attention, how to hold their attention, how to sell myself and how to leave the stage feeling like I had done a great job.
It worked, I was still nervous but I remembered what Jennie had gone through with me.
I did get the ladies attention, I did hold their attention, I did sell myself and I did leave the stage feeling like I had done a good job. I know that without Jennie’s session my presentation would not have been half as good. Thank-you Jennie.
